Lucky Dog Stay & Play grew from a need for more space into a 40-acre dog-care property just minutes from Erie.
Joe's story
A dog business with room to grow.
Owner Joe began with Shades of Grey Weimaraners while working full-time at General Electric. In 2017 he purchased the former Lake Pleasant Golf Course to create more room for the breeding business.
After recognizing demand for dog boarding, Joe transformed the former clubhouse into a boarding facility. Lucky Dog Stay & Play opened in 2019 and continued expanding into daycare, Bark Park access, grooming and transportation.
